Custom Consoles introduce System 2 motorised workstations

Custom Consoles, specialist in high-grade office and studio furniture, has introduced a System 2 modular motorised workstation complying with the latest European health and safety directives.
System 2 is designed to accommodate standard office equipment, computers, graphic processors and screens. Pushbutton-controlled electric motors in the S2-01 desk and S2-02 monitor shelf allow quick, easy and inherently safe height adjustment via a panel located just below the front surface of each desk, four user presets being provided to store frequently-used settings.
Workstations to match a wide range of applications are available from nine System 2 elements:

• S2-01 electric height-adjustable desk with 2000 x 750 mm surface area, power distribution and cable management.
• S2-02 electric height adjustable monitor shelf with 2000 x 550 surface area, power distribution and cable management.
• S2-03 19 inch mobile 13U equipment pedestal with stabiliser and worktop.
• S2-04 19 inch 3U equipment pod (in optional clear or coloured finish).
• S2-05 Sliding tray accepting most videotape decks.
• S2-06 19 inch rack-mount mains distribution unit with Powercon connector and 12 IEC power outputs.
• S2-07 Computer mounting frame.
• S2-08 19 inch 27U equipment enclosure.
• S2-09 19 inch 3U angled control panel mounting pod.

System 2 is available in natural wood or coloured MDF (red, yellow, green, blue or black) with hard-lacquered finish.
