Beacon South West membership reaches 100 with Aardman Animations

Beacon company status has been awarded to Aardman Animations Ltd. in Bristol, bringing the total membership of Beacon South West to 100.
Beacon company status is awarded to those companies who can demonstrate outstanding business achievement across a range of key business benchmarks, which include profitability, productivity, good business practice, the value added or turnover per employee and execution of a clear business strategy.
Sue Baker, head of Beacon South West, said: “Aardman has shown excellence in a number of areas. The company has handled significant peaks and troughs in staff requirements and income caused by the nature of their industry extremely well. It has a fantastic working culture with innovative communications systems and a high regard for all employees and freelance workers.
“Their intelligent use of technology has also helped grow the business, forming strategic partnerships with other companies to increase the scope of their activity and removing the need for centralised studios by utilising remote working.”
