MASTERSON SHOWS LIGHT TOUCH
‘CHANGE an irrefutable law of the Universe’ was the task Maverick Media Director Seamus Masterson was set in a clever new spot for ‘Benecol Light’ through Saatchi & Saatchi.
Masterson said: “Its one of those little things, a couple of lines in the small print of creation, just below the bit about the next queue to yours always moving quicker. This script, despite being about a piece of toast, is actually the first stage in an underground war against the unseen forces which govern our existence.”
The film’s naturalistic, understated style is a departure from Mastersons usual work on recent projects for PlayStation 2, Eidos, Pepsi and EA Sports.
The film was produced by Will Jeffery, Telecine was by Martin Southworth at Rushes, and the editing was by Paul Fidenzi at Compendium. (CD)
