UK PARTICIPANTS CHOSEN FOR EAVE COURSE
TWELVE UK participants have been chosen for next years EAVE course. These will include six producers with projects and six producers without projects.
EAVE represents ten years of continuous success in training producers from all over European countries and serves as a launch pad for individual careers and corporate success.
The twelve UK participants will take part on EAVE’s 2001 course, including three workshops of eight days each in three different European countries. The first session will be held in Cyprus in March, the second will be held in Sweden during mid-June and the final session is to be in Dublin in mid-November.
Training will focus on the further development of the film or television project including packaging, production, finance, script analysis and distribution, as well as strategic business planning and management.
The following producers with projects have been selected from the UK to take part in the EAVE 2001 course: Graeme Dallas, Alba Film in Edinburgh, for his feature film ‘Collision’; Jane Kelly, Straight Forward Productions from Holywood, County Down, for her factual documentary ‘Voodoo’; Pearse Moore, Raw Nerve Productions in Derry, for his comedy ‘Mohammed Maguire’; Fizzy Oppe, Fiction Factory in Cardiff, for the feature film ‘Dewis Teg’; Jonathan Vernon, Worthmedia in Brighton, for a three minute web film and Ynyr Williams, Salem Films in Cardiff, for a tragic love story ‘Caitlin’.
The six other producers selected without projects are: Andreas Bajohra from Phantom Pictures, London; Lazel Daley from Black Coral productions, London; Victoria Evans from BBC Scotland, Glasgow; Bea Freeman from Liverpool; Barry Taylor from Anima Productions, London, and Sunandan Walia from Endboard Productions, Birmingham.
In total EAVE 2001 selected 51 producers from all over Europe. (CMcL)
