Key promotions at Ascent Media

Ascent Media's Edward Ferraro and Peter Kupic have been promoted from Senior Director, Sales, and Senior Director, Business Development to Vice President in their respective areas, it has been announced by Tom Canavan, Systems & Technology Services' Executive Vice President.
Ferraro and Kupic, both industry veterans previously with the Broadband Communications Sector of Motorola, joined Ascent Media in early 2003. As part of a new initiative to provide comprehensive encoding and support solutions for satellite and broadcast content providers, Ferraro and Kupic were charged with introducing to the industry a full menu of engineering and support options related to the implementation of digital encoding equipment and services, as well as outsourced solutions for network management and disaster recovery. These new services complemented the existing range available to Ascent Media customers, including design, construction, field service, and management of satellite network facilities and earth stations.
