TYRELL APPOINTED AVID TRILLIGENT DISTRIBUTOR

PREMIER resellers Tyrell, have been appointed sole UK and Ireland distributors of Avid’s streaming media technology, Trilligent.
The Trilligent Cluster is a high-performance, scalable, turnkey system designed to seamlessly integrate with an existing Internet infrastructure. Optimised media servers and load balancers run on a shared storage pool managed by Avid’s unique, patent-pending distributed file system technology.
The software, which runs on racked-and ready hardware, abides by a ‘plug and stream’ theory, allowing quick installation, and upgrades to occur with minimal or no downtime. Trilligent enables intelligent management and streaming of high-bandwidth content, because content is managed via a shared storage pool, not replicated across servers.
