Dayang appoints South American Regional Manager

Dayang International has appointed Ernesto Araoz as Regional Manager, South America.
Based in Argentina, he will be responsible for all Dayang sales throughout the southern continent.
Ernesto Araoz brings over 20 years of broadcast industry experience. Graduating in electronics, he was closely involved in the formation of TV Channel 8 in the Argentine province of Tucumán. Over the next ten years he held a variety of TV Channel 8 management roles, directing a staff of 120 in programming, sales and marketing.
From 1984 to 1997, he was VP of Sales & Engineering at Kappa SA, supporting a wide range of electronic products and developing a Latin American sales channel for UK-based Parallax Software.
In 1997 he became Latin America District Sales Manager for Microsoft-Softimage and in 1999 Director of Sales & Marketing for RT-SET. He then spent two years as Director of Sales & Marketing for video display manufacturer ComView before becoming an independent sales consultant.
