Antena 1 elects Chyron as premier choice for graphics

Chyron Corporation has announced that Antena 1, a leading Romanian private television station, has achieved major success by being the first to display the results for all three Romanian elections using Chyron's Duet character generator running Lyric 3D software.
The installation was carried out by Chyron's Romanian partner, Convergence.
Antena 1 also achieved the highest broadcast ratings for its Romanian electoral coverage, which featured results for the local, parliamentary and
presidential elections.
The synergy between Chyron's Duet character generator and its Lyric graphics capabilities provided Antena 1 with a highly capable 3D machine, which can cope with the demands of live data displays such as presidential elections.
Mr Sabin Cutas, Executive Director of Antena 1, said: "Using Chyron's spectacular graphics we were able to provide our viewers' with fast, dynamic, animated, data-rich graphics throughout this high-profile television event. The results have proven that we made the best possible choice when selecting Chyron in co-operation with Convergence."
