Eyeheight launch new Colour Corrector

Eyeheight have introduced the CC-2 Colour Corrector, the latest addition to their geNETics family of infrastructure products.
This versatile unit is designed to provide individual control and an integral legaliser ensures that the resultant picture complies with normal broadcast signal specifications. Also incorporated is a safe area generator which can be set to display safe action and safe title cursors for all standard aspect ratios. Input is via 270 Mbit/s SDI feeding and 10-bit internal processor with three 270 Mbit/s SDI outputs (loopthrough, main and indicate).
Up to six CC-2 modules can be accommodated in an Eyeheight FB-9 1U Flexi-Box chassis for operation via an FP-9 local control panel, FP-10 desk-mounting control panel or Touch-Eazy touchscreen geNETics system controller. A CC-2 can alternatively be housed in a free-standing MB-9 desktop unit.
Eyeheight managing director, Martin Moore, said: "We have developed the CC-2 in response to very strong demand. It allows origination, postproduction and playout staff to correct defects in colour balance quickly and easily without risk of generating out-of-gamut signals. It will make its first exhibition appearance on the Eyeheight booth at the NAB 2003 Convention in Las Vegas."
