Merging Technologies appoints head of West Coast operation

Swiss-based Merging Technologies, which supplies the Pyramix DAW and VCube HD video recorder systems, has appointed Kaspar Hugentobler to head a new Los Angeles operation to support the rapidly growing Pyramix and VCube user-base in the United States.
Statistics show that the number of Pyramix users in the US has grown greater than 100% year on year since 2001 and there is no sign of the demand lessening. The West Coast in particular is fast becoming a hotbed of Pyramix users.
“Kaspar has many years experience working professionally with Pyramix in all areas of the audio industry and knows the system inside out,” explained Ken Barnsley, Merging Technologies' Sales and Marketing Manager. “His primary role is to be on hand for our customers in the LA region for support and training and as the principle demonstrator for new customers of Pyramix and the new VCube systems. He will be working closely with Audio Intervisual Design, our principle dealer in LA.”
Merging’s President and Founder, Claude Cellier, added: "Merging Technologies is totally committed to the US market and it is clear that a localised support operation is a key requirement for our customers.”
