Mi Broadcast to showcase CopperHead Cine at TV Tech 2005

Mi Broadcast Ltd, UK distributor for Telecast Fiber Systems, will be showing the new CopperHead Cine camera control system for HD Camcorders at TV Tech 2005 at London's Earls Court, January 25-27.
CopperHead is a universal fibre optic remote control system for ENG cameras, only the connecting cables defining the particular model of camera and RCP.
The digital version can send SDI or HD SDI and composite video to the base station along with two program audios, data and comms. Genlock/Tri level sync, reverse viewfinder, comms, data and mono audio are sent from the base to head. The Cine version for Digital Cinematography has four audios from base to camcorder head to record four tracks of mixed audio and timecode.
Connection between base and camera is via tactical (TAC2) fibre optic cable.
Following the show the new Cine system will be available for hire as part of Mi Broadcast's extensive rental inventory. Mi Broadcast provides links for the transmission of multiple videos, audios and data over long distances using lightweight cable eliminating hum and the need to equalise signals.
Telecast fibre optic links are used daily for news and outside broadcast by major broadcasters around the world.
