TV Galicia selects Chyron for digital newsroom installation

Television de Galicia (TVG) has installed three Chyron Duet LEX character generators running Lyric compositing software with a MOS interface for its ENPS digital newsroom.
The installation was carried out by Chyron's Spanish partner Clearcom S.L.
One of Spain's largest public broadcasters, TVG, based in Santiago de Compostella, broadcasts news, sports and entertainment in the Galician language to the Autonomous Region of Galicia as well as to viewers in the rest of Europe and the Americas.
Using Chyron's MOS interface, TVG journalists from their ENPS desktops will be able to quickly and easily access Chyron's remote asset browsing, editing and playout capabilities. Offering 2D and 3D animation capability and interfacing to an extensive range of external file formats, Lyric, Chyron's highly-advanced graphics creation and playback application running on the Duet LEXs, will provide TVG journalists with extensive support for templates; ideal for situations where a graphic artist creates the framework for other non-graphic skilled operators to populate with data.
