EditShare Version 2.0 now shipping via MMD

Multimedia Direct (MMD) has just announced the arrival in the UK of EditShare Version 2.0, the newly launched shared storage, editing and administration software manufactured by US-based EditShare.
MMD is offering demonstrations of Version 2.0 at its London based showroom, and will focus on some of the new key features. These include added media management tools to further simplify media sharing, management and collaboration as well as expanded storage capacity and scalability for its base systems.
EditShare Version 2.0 provides graphical representation of utilised storage, giving administrators a quick and easy snapshot of the amount of space being used by each project and each editor. The standard base storage of the entry-level system has been expanded to 2 terabytes, making EditShare an even more robust solution for offline and online collaborative editing.
Tara Montford, Sales Manager, at MMD, said: “We have already received and installed the first EditShare products and we are getting some very positive feedback from customers.
