Holophone appoints international dealers for H2-PRO Surround Sound Microphone

Holophone has announced the appointment of international dealers for its now-shipping H2-PRO Surround Sound Microphone.
The dealers are: HHB for the UK; AmberTechnology for Australia and New Zealand; Sonotechnique for Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver; Soundware Digital Sound & Picture in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden; Mega Audio for Germany; Audio Processing kk (APTX) for Japan; HanSeo for Korea, and Wind Over the Earth for the United States.

The H2-PRO is a new and patented audio capture device capable of recording up to 7.1 channels of high-quality and discrete surround sound. The unit features eight DPA Model 4060 mics, which terminate in eight XLR cables and is compatible with all recording consoles, multichannel preamps and portable hard disk location recorders that provide phantom power.
The H2-PRO is the only recorder specifically designed to capture realistic, discrete surround sound in real time with no processing. It is ideal for all surround sound recording and broadcast applications, including music, sports, field recording, SDTV, DTV, HDTV or webcasting.
With a suggested retail price of $6,000 USD, the H2-PRO is lightweight, portable, can be used in all outdoor environments and is compatible with all commercial audio formats including Dolby, DTS, and Circle Surround.
