Media 100 appoints European Director

Media 100, a unit of Optibase and a leading provider of advanced media systems, has announced the appointment of Matthew Causon to the position of European Director.
He will be responsible for Media 100's EMEA operations, including sales and marketing responsibility for all Media 100 products and managing the Media 100 EMEA reseller channel.
Causon joins Media 100 from Lightworks NLE Ltd where, as General Manager, he developed his already extensive knowledge of the non-linear editing systems market, having previously been European Director at both Digidesign (a division of Avid) and Fairlight ESP. His primary role at Media 100 will now be to further develop the company's sales channel and marketing strategies and programmes.
