Sheffield International Documentary Festival announces 2004 programme

The Sheffield International Documentary Festival has confirmed its 2004 festival programme.
The programme brings together over 75 films from around the world and a host of international guest filmmakers. Running concurrently at the festival throughout the week will be interactive sessions and masterclasses offering live audiences fascinating insight into the film industry. The festival opens with David Flamholc’s ‘House Of The Tiger King’, which follows explorer Tahir Shah and a group of mismatched companions as they search for Paititi, the Inca’s lost city of gold. This fast-paced and humorous documentary heads a selection of diverse and enlightening films at this year’s festival.
A film pass can be purchased which allows access to ten screenings for £32.00 (£25.60 conc) and tickets can be bought for individual films at £4.00 (£3.20 conc). Sessions and Masterclasses are £8.00. Delegate Passes, which cover all screenings, sessions and industry events, are priced at £229.13p and are available up until the start of the festival.
There is also a limited number of concessionary Delegate Passes priced at £76.38p allocated to students, claimants and senior citizens. All tickets can be purchased in person at The Showroom everyday from 1pm or fifteen minutes before each performance, or by telephone on +44 (0) 114 275 7727. During the week of the festival tickets will be available for purchase from 9.30am.
