Edifis announce Multi Standard upgrade

Edifis announces Multi Standard, a new upgrade for the Brick SD, Sting, Scratchbox, Graduate, Gearbox, Brick HD and Scratchbox HD range of disk-based video and film post-production equipment.
Multi Standard allows 24 and 23.976 frame/s playback and record as well as regular 25 frame operation. Recordings can be made at one standard and later played out at another, interfacing directly with PAL, NTSC and HD VTRs.
Multi Standard is available for all newly ordered systems and can also be retrofitted to existing systems.
Edifis sales director Richard Lilley said: "Multi Standard has many applications in master control rooms, quality control, telecine support and in video tape suites. It adds an entire layer of flexibility to what is already a highly versatile product family, and for very low cost.
"Price is £6,000 as an upgrade to existing system or £4,000 pounds as an option to a new system."
