CHANNEL 4 ANNOUNCE NEW APPOINTMENTS
CHANNEL 4 have announced that Polly Cochrane has been appointed to the new position of Managing Director of Marketing and Commercial Development.
Cochrane will take responsibility for consumer products and brand extensions including music, videos, DVDs and publishing. By integrating Commercial Development with Marketing, Channel 4 aims to bring a stronger brand focus to everything they do in the area, helping to develop Channel 4 further as one of the world's premier media brands.
Reporting to Cochrane, Bill Griffin has been appointed Head of Marketing and will have responsibility for the creative delivery of Channel 4's on and off-air marketing strategy.
Lisa Green has been appointed Head of 4Creative, which Channel 4 intends to build into a stand alone business developing creative work for both internal and external clients. (CD)
