FAST PROVIDE OVERVIEW OF UK TV PROGRAMMING

FAST Multimedia have introduced a detailed and easy-to-use overview of UK TV programming at www.tvtv.co.uk
Launched on June 18 the new interactive Program Guide (iPG) from FAST TV Server enables viewers to quickly navigate through the mass of available programming information and tailor this data to produce their own personal television viewing schedule.
The FAST TV Server guide has complete programme details for more than 60 channels, with many more channels planned.
'What's on now', as well as information for the coming two weeks is available and is updated daily, with detailed additional information for most programmes. The daily schedule is presented clearly and concisely, and classification of the channels can be easily customised by the user.
A simple mouse-click adds the selected programme to the personal job list. But the real benefit lies within the powerful search capabilities: both pre-defined and customised combinations are possible. Hence all movies, daily soaps or other popular categories can be found and selected according to a variety of set preferences. For example, you can tailor a schedule to display children's programmes during the morning and your chosen action-packed feature films in the evening.
If the user selects programmes which run at the same time, the iPG will indicate if there is a clash.
When the selection process is finished, the job list can be edited again or printed out for reference. (CD)
