TerraTec launches new video-editing solution for beginners

TerraTec Electronic, a leading European multimedia manufacturer, has announced the release of its DV 800 video-editing solution, packed with an unprecedented combination of accessories included as standard.
This complete package offers everything budding video filmmakers need to get rolling, including a FireWire controller for fast data downloading from digital cameras or video recorders to PCs, powerful VideoStudio 8 editing software, and a 1.8-meter FireWire cord.
Cameo DV 800 offers three FireWire and four USB 2.0 ports designed to accommodate up to 63 FireWire and four USB devices with data transfer rates ranging up to 400 and 480 Mbits per second, respectively. Although the Cameo DV 800 will work with any device that utilises FireWire and USB 2.0 technology (such as hard disks, burners, scanners and printers), it really opens doors for digital camcorder users, as it is capable of transmitting recordings conveniently, loss-free, and in the finest digital quality.
The full version of Ulead's new VideoStudio 8 is included as standard, and offers a host of convenient technological innovations, including the user-friendly Film Assistant, 16:9 format support, MPEG 4 and DiVX support, powerful audio processing tools, extended functions for the voice-over track, new effects and filters, and an enhanced title generator.
