FireStore FS-2 now available from Mi Broadcast

Focus Enhancement’s FireStore FS-2 Digital Disk Recorder is designed to bring DTE Technology into the studio.
With a rackmount chassis, extensive analogue and digital audio/video support and industry standard control capabilities, the FireStore FS-2 is ideal as a tape deck replacement in broadcast, post, security, medical or presentation applications.
To seemlessly integrate into any facility, FireStore FS-2 has the full complement of audio and video inputs and outputs. Analogue I/O includes composite, S-video, component and balanced Audio.
Digital I/O includes SDI, 25Mb/s DV (FireWire/iLink) and AES/EBU digital audio. Additionally, FireStore FS-2 includes a reference video loop through, audio and video monitor ports and external timecode I/O. Input sources are recorded to disk in DTE Technology based DV25 file formats. FS-2 is also an ideal signal transcoder with all outputs live during a recording or when in E-E mode.
Clips can be recorded to disk in NLE native file formats that support DV NLE systems from Apple, Avid, Adobe, Pinnacle, Matrox, Canopus, Sony and more.
In addition to its disk recorder capabilities, FS-2 transcodes the input or recorded signal to all outputs and can be controlled via the industry standard RS-422 (Sony 9-pin) interface. FS-2 ships standard with a 120GB (over nine hours of DV25 recording) removable disk drive and also allows for up to five FireWire drives to be daisy chained from the unit.
