Tony Bellamy joins Pharos from Quantel

Pharos Communications has announced the appointment of Tony Bellamy as International Sales Manager, reporting to Sales & Marketing Director Roger Heath.
He joins from Quantel where he was Global Product Manager - Graphics.
Tony Bellamy began his career in 1990 as an installation engineer at Panasonic Broadcast Europe, progressing to Senior Engineer, Automation. He was recruited in 1995 by Sony Broadcast as Automation Specialist, advancing to European Production Manager - Automation.
This was followed by two years at Baltimore Internet Security Products as Global Product Manager and four years at Quantel.
Bellamy commented: "Pharos is a young and dynamic company which has established itself as the industry leader in reliable and efficient systems for broadcast automation, control and media management. Pharos has pioneered the transition from hard-wired panel-per-product operation to much more efficient systems based on an easily-learnt graphic interface. My role will be to help extend the company's products into new territories and new applications."
Roger Heath added: "Tony's background makes him a very welcome member of the expanding Pharos team as we expand our strategic partnerships. He joins as we move forward into audience-interactive systems and web-based intranet control of broadcast facilities."
