Steljes Hire supplies ‘Love on a Saturday Night’

Steljes Hire has supplied a range of audio visual products to ITV 1’s new primetime Saturday night dating show, ‘Love on a Saturday Night’.
The show, which sees Davina McCall helping people find their perfect date, switches between the studio set and outside broadcasts. To display the outside broadcast in the studio, the production company and set designers needed a large display monitor integrated into the set behind Davina. The minimal depth of the set provided significant restrictions. However despite these depth limitations the quality of the display had to be clear and crisp.
Having worked successfully with Steljes Hire before, James Zafar of Granada Media approached Steljes’ Operations Manager Lloyd Hanlon.
Zafar said: “I was very aware that in today’s market I could get a plasma screen from anywhere at a very competitive price, however it was the high level of technical expertise and quality of service that we demanded. I knew I could completely trust Steljes Hire to deliver.”
Hanlon added: “Being a primetime television production Granada television wanted the best. We worked with the set designers to ensure that our AV installation met the film crew’s requirements, and was sure to offer no technical hitches on the night.”
