Masstech and Sundance Digital announce collaboration
Masstech Group, a leading provider of software and embedded hardware broadcast workflow solutions, and Sundance Digital, a leading supplier of high-performance broadcast automation systems, have undertaken an initiative to provide an integrated end-to-end automation/archive package.
The combined Masstech-Sundance technologies enable television broadcast facilities to work within automation systems and maximise storage. Masstech’s MassStore is an end-to-end nearline, archive and content management solution that extends non-linear audio/video server storage with full content management and tracking. It interfaces directly with Sundance Digital’s Titan and FastBreak Automation systems to furnish an advanced asset management core for single and multi-channel environments.
Titan is Sundance Digital’s highly-scalable automation solution capable of controlling a handful to many hundreds of channels in a facility, or remotely managing channels at multiple locations.
FastBreak Automation is a robust, scaleable and frame-accurate manager of video servers and other station peripherals for the traditional broadcast facility.
