ELECTROGRAPH DELPHI TO DISPLAY NEW TECH AT IBC 2001

ELECTROGRAPH Delphi have specialised for the past three years in the development of digital technology with plasma monitors.
This year at IBC, for the first time, they have on display their Direct Digital technology working with a variety of panels.
Showing for the first time are their new 42-inch and 50-inch high-definition displays, incorporating a newly developed interface which makes no compromise on picture quality and displays HDSDI which sets new standards.
The pictures from the direct digital interface, marketed under licence from technology developed by BBC Research and Development, are now acknowledged as setting the standards for 480-line standard definition panels, with the Delphi DD42 being described by the Soho Independent as ‘the best plasma on the planet’.
The pictures have been achieved by eliminating conversions from analogue to digital and back again, and by applying proprietary know-how on format conversions.
Also showing for the first time at IBC 2001 is their new 15-inch ultra bright HD LCD monitor. This allows HD material to be viewed in Daylight by film crews on location.
