ALTERED IMAGES POWER UP HYPERION’S PRESENTATIONS

ALTERED Images, the fast growing London-based digital broadcast systems reseller, has just completed a major presentation equipment and installation contract for Hyperion, the business software supplier, at their new Egham headquarters.
Hyperion is a global leader in business intelligence software. Its products are used by more than 6,000 organisations worldwide, including 86 of the Fortune 100, 64 of the Nikkei Top 100 in Japan and more than 40 of the Financial Times European Top 100. Following recent expansion, the company recently moved its UK operation to its new base in Surrey. Although the building itself is modern, Hyperion needed to re-equip a number of the large meeting rooms as training rooms where their clients could be taught to use Hyperion’s software, hence the call to Altered Images.
Altered Images’ director David von Gerard said: “Hyperion’s brief was to fit out seven training rooms, including one larger room for eighty people, with presentation facilities that would meet their growing demands and requirements.”
Altered Images installed seven Sanyo XP 21 and XP18 projectors in Hyperion’s Egham headquarters. One of the challenges was that all cabling had to be completely concealed. The main meeting room combined a lectern with a full conference PA. Altered Images designed the system to cope with overflow situations by installing 42” plasma panels in an adjacent area.
Gary Foley, IT manager at Hyperion, comments: “We knew we were setting Altered Images a tough assignment, by asking them to have the first re-equipped meeting room up and running within ten days of our order, and to complete the rest of the rooms as soon as possible after that. I’m delighted to say they rose to the occasion superbly, and completed the installation within the tight timescale. We are also very satisfied with the system.”
