Snell & Wilcox to demonstrate Splicer

Snell & Wilcox will demonstrate 'Splicer' at the forthcoming Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) Technology Awareness event which is scheduled to be held at the BBC West 1 Conference Centre in London on February 21.
Splicer is a versatile High Definition conformer that enables users to transform their facility into an advanced, efficient HD content producer.
A Java application, Splicer uses 'Synapse' - the brains behind the Splicer GUI, which is a scalable workgroup metadata server based on the AAF object model.
Designed from the ground up around AAF, Snell & Wilcox claim that Splicer offers one of the highest levels of AAF compliance in the industry.
More information on the AAF and this upcoming event may be found at www.aafassociation.org
