Memnon Announces New Roles
Memnon has announced several new roles for key members of its sales and operations teams.
The moves which aims to help Memnon continue to deliver the best possible customer experience, will also allow the company to promote its campaign against media obsolescence and degradation.
Memnon CEO Heidi Shakespeare explained: "invaluable assets in the media industries are at risk more than they’ve ever been due to playback machine obsolescence and physical carriers degrading to the point that they can’t be saved.
"It's important that service providers like Memnon have passionate teams of experts that customers can put trust in to help address this huge challenge. These new appointments celebrate the achievements of our team and their dedication to delivering for clients with Memnon’s values of expertise and passion."
Based in Memnon’s Brussels facility, Olivier Delforge will take up the role of Director of Production and Operations where his focus will be ensuring the highest-level of excellence in customer delivery. Olivier has been with Memnon since 2010 when he joined as a sales assistant. In his time with the company, he’s seen all aspects of the customer journey and says that he’s looking forward to bringing all that experience into his new role which will include optimising processes and quality assurance to create even better efficiency and performance.
UK-based Adam Kidd joined Memnon five years ago when he started as an operator. He will become the company’s new Sales Operations Manager for the EMEA region. With a vision for how he can create an even better customer experience, Adam is looking forward to working in partnership with clients start-to-finish on promoting preservation that battles media obsolescence.
Memnon also strengthens its presence in the US market with two new promotions. Based out of its facility in Bloomington, Indiana, Ian Macdonald joined Memnon in 2016 as an imaging operator. Now appointed to Sales Operations Manager US & ANZ, Ian will be a key lead within the sales team for both the US and in ANZ where Memnon already has key projects underway, including the preservation of the invaluable AV collections held by Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision, The National Library of New Zealand and Archives New Zealand.
Auston Germany has also been appointed a new role as Global Head of Software Solutions, task with developing and customising Memnon’s proprietary workflow orchestration software to ensure it can create custom workflows to ensure a seamless integration with individual customers inhouse systems. Auston has come a long way since joining the team again around eight years ago as an operator. He’s now looking forward to being a key part of the management team and working to evolve Memnon’s internal workflows which is a key USP for the company’s work with its global customers.
