Radio Siberia Renews Its Studio With AEQ Technology

From Siruela, a town in the province of Badajoz (Extremadura), RADIO SIBERIA 107.8 FM has been broadcasting on FM for more than 14 years, a municipal radio station whose name was adopted because of its influence in its coverage area, due to the location of the transmitter centre (low power) and the absence of other emissions in the radio spectrum of the modulated frequency in the entire region of La Siberia, located in the northeast of the province of Badajoz.

In its current 24/7 programming and 4 hours a day with its own production, there are 12 collaborators from different specialties and occupations in the municipality who, among others, produce programs on nutrition, psychology, sports, musicals, etc.

Recently the station has been completely refurbished, including the new location of the studios. AEQ has been in charge of supplying all the necessary equipment to provide better performance in its audio broadcast. The heart of the project is a CAPITOL IP digital mixer (8-channel fixed configuration), the AUDIOPLUS automation system, a VENUS4 IP audiocodec, a MERCURY audiocodec and a TALENT ultra-compact audiocodec with which they broadcast plenary sessions and other outside events.

As complementary audio equipment, an FM tuner, CD player, multimedia, headphones, self-powered loudspeakers, microphones, pantograph and table microphone stands were supplied for the studio in self-monitoring configuration. In addition, AEQ was also in charge of the engineering and supply of all the cabling, as well as the ON AIR signaling accessories and HB-02 headphone regulator microphone connection plates.

The entire project has been integrated by INSERTEL in coordination with the AEQ team.
