AEQ FORUM Digitalises Radio Fabu's Broadcasts In Guayaquil

Radio Fabu is an Ecuadorian radio station that began broadcasting on March 21, 1977 in Guayaquil.

The station broadcasts romantic songs of all times, adapting to its listeners. Radio Fabu also offers a variety of musical and entertainment programs accompanied by local presenters and announcers. Since its inception, Radio Fabu's signal has been tuned into the 105.7FM dial, and now also its website for a more global audience.

The technical management of the company decided in the last renovation to select AEQ FORUM as the digital console for its main broadcast studio, for its ease of use, robustness of operation, and high audio quality.

AEQ FORUM IP is a mixing console designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features needed in such environments: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signalling control, control signals for external equipment automation, external communications management, intercommunication, etc.

With its modular design and small size, AEQ FORUM adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-monitoring, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. The most recent FORUM IP version, FORUM IP SPLIT comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.

AEQ FORUM can be equipped with AoIP multichannel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol via DANTE technology. Through this connectivity it will be possible to collect and deliver signals to other consoles, routers, and other input and output terminal equipment from more than 300 different manufacturers. It is also possible to choose MADI connectivity, and can be equipped with up to two internal digital telephone hybrids.
