SCHNEIDER OPTICS INTRODUCE 4½” ACHROMATIC DIOPTERS

SCHNEIDER Optics, one of the leaders in lens design and optical technology, have announced the availability of a new line of 4½” Achromatic Diopters.
The two-element dioptres allow extremely close photography with zoom or prime lenses, without compromising image quality.
Schneider 4 ½” Achromatic Diopters are specially designed for superior close-up imaging in 35mm, 16mm, video and high definition. They are ideal for capturing close-up action, miniatures and table-top scenes, as well as bringing out the finest details in graphics or artwork.
Dwight Lindsey, Schneider Optics Senior Vice President, said: "Our 4½” Achromats provide edge-to-edge sharpness while maintaining sharp focus throughout the entire zoom range. They are unique because they eliminate chromatic aberration that usually occurs when using single-element dioptres.”
Schneider 4½” Diopters feature Schneider’s hard anti-reflective (AR) coating. This dramatically reduces light loss and flare while further helping to ensure proper colour, contrast and overall image quality.
Schneider 4½” Achromats are compatible with all lenses that accept a 4½” diameter filter and provide a lighter-weight alternative to larger dioptres while permitting improved performance and convenience in hand-held shooting.
The Diopters are part of the broad line of high-quality filters that Schneider designs and manufactures for professional motion picture and television cameras.
