SCHNEIDER LAUNCH NEW POLARISING FILTER

SCHNEIDER Optics have announced the availability of their new 95mm Slim-Line Polarising Filter for use with Fujinon and Canon lenses.
The Schneider Slim-Line Polarising Filter is designed with a thin profile ring that prevents vignetting on wide-angle video lenses and can be directly attached to the Canon 20x and 21x lenses with the use of a new Schneider 95mm to 94mm stepdown ring, which provides a convenient and economical way for the universal 95mm filters to be attached to a less common 94mm thread.
Independent tests by a Canon service centre have proven that a Schneider Slim-Line Polariser can also be stacked with a standard 95mm (a clear UV, for example) on Canon 20x and 21x lenses, without causing mechanical vignetting with the Canon Sunshade.
Because mounting an additional filter in front of a Slim-Line Filter would defeat its purpose, Schneider Slim-Line Filters do not have threads on their outer face.
Like all Schneider filters, Slim-Line Polarising Filters are made of optical glass that is precision ground and polished to industry standards for plane parallelism. All are tested with a laser interferometer to ensure flatness and a perfect parallel relationship of both sides. As a result, Schneider filters produce identical effects with long and wide lenses, and with zoom lenses at all focal lengths.
