Leader Electronics of Europe has announced that it will exhibit at CABSAT, which takes place this year from 21-23 May 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (Stand No. 103).

Demonstrating both Leader and PHABRIX instruments, the company will showcase test and measurement solutions for all broadcast and media applications – including on-set, studio production, post-production, QC, and in-house video technology manufacturing facilities.

Making its CABSAT debut, is the Leader ZEN-W Series, comprised of the LV5600W waveform monitor and LV7600W rasterizer. Developed from the established LV5600 and LV7600, these latest-generation instruments are designed to satisfy the most demanding broadcast media test and measurement environments. Each incorporates a wide range of new features plus a Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) interface, allowing secure remote control and monitoring from a web-connected desktop or laptop computer.

Leader Electronics of Europe will also highlight a host of notable product and technology demonstrations during CABSAT 2024, including:

The new Leader LT4670 1U full-rack width synchronous SDI/IP reference and test signal generator, the latest addition to Leader’s heritage of signal generators will be on show, ideal for use in traditional SDI broadcast facilities as well as the next generation of hybrid SDI/IP facilities.

A host of brand-new updates for the Leader ZEN Series, including:
• SDR Full Range Display
• HDR/SDR/HDR conversion via 3D LUT file import
• The addition of ARRI and RED camera tools to the Leader Cinezone realtime false color exposure display

PHABRIX's unique and powerful range of Hybrid IP/SDI solutions, including:
• The PHABRIX 25G IP ST 2110 QxL rasterizer and QxP Portable Waveform Monitor, now supporting the detection and analysis of SMPTE Full Range video standards.
• The handheld Sx TAG IP, offering a truly portable line checking tool for testing ST 2110 and ST 2022-6 IP streams.

Billed as the only dedicated event which attracts over 18,000 industry professionals in the MEASA region, CABSAT is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024. More than 450 exhibiting companies drawn from 120-plus countries are expected to participate in the event, which has an impressively broad attendee base encompassing engineers, system integrators, broadcasters, content buyers, sellers, producers and distributors.

Martin Mulligan, COO, Leader Electronics of Europe, comments: "Last year's CABSAT provided a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with new and existing customers in the MEASA region. It’s also great to have so many new features to showcase from both the Leader and PHABRIX brands, all of which reinforce our long-term commitment to satisfy evolving requirements in T&M as an increasing number of broadcasters work simultaneously in SDI, IP and multiple video formats. There’s plenty to discuss, so please do drop by our stand at the show to find out more."
