INTERACTIVE TELEVISION SUPERSESSION TO TAKE PLACE AT IBC

A SPECIAL SuperSession entitled ‘TV Goes Broadband and Interactive’ will take place September 17 at IBC 2001.
The session has attracted the key creative programme developers, designers and business leaders from around the globe. They will be in Amsterdam to debate the Business and Creative challenges that pushing the envelope on Enhanced Television entails.
The Programme is to be produced and chaired by Ferhan Cook of MediaPlay International who is one of the leading international consultants on the topic.
The day's sessions are organised to provide both strategic and practical information spanning creative and business topics. The morning sessions will provide the strategic framework for both business and technology directions.
They will also cover market information such as the leading iTV platforms, the key technologies changing the way we watch television, and market deployments.
The afternoon sessions will be case study oriented and will aim to disseminate practical tips and spark a brainstorming with the audience and the pioneering business and creative figures. Creative issues such as how to build the right level of interactivity to pull the audiences, how to design multiplatform entertainment, as well as business issues on how to make money and how to negotiate rights, will be the topics of discussion.
