AP International Services & Technology announces new appointments

Associated Press' Director of International Services & Technology, Nick Evansky, has announced the appointment of two new members to the companies senior management team.
Dave Hoad moves to Head of Technology and Strategic Projects. In this Hoad will continue to work with Nick Evansky on the running of the Associated Press Television News (APTN) Technology Department, as well as directly managing the Projects and Development teams at APTN. In addition to this he will manage and co-ordinate strategic projects, and act as the Services & Technology (S&T) point person for technology initiatives for all media across the international space.
Evansky said: “Dave has a unique quality in being able to translate what the business and customers want into a technical solution. He has a great global AP resource to tap into and work alongside.”
Daniel Lynch moves to Head of Communications Technology and Strategy. Lynch currently manages all of APTN's communications infrastructure and global technical resource management systems. In additional to this, working in conjunction with the International S&T team, he will now extend his focus to encompass all media communications requirements, as well as being involved in setting strategic direction.
Evansky said: “Daniel is a specialist in communications deal making and embracing new communications technology advances to provide solid business benefits. In his new role, he can take a holistic view of all AP's requirements which will undoubtedly yield increased business benefits.”
