NBC chooses ScheduALL Software for Athens Olympics

NBC Olympics has selected ScheduALL as the supplier of broadcast resource management software for NBC’s coverage of the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
The software will be used to oversee broadcast event ingest and final product distribution of NBC's Olympic coverage from the International Broadcast Center.
NBC will implement the company's ScheduLINK software for management and organisation of inbound feeds from over 30 Olympic venues and mobile units. NBC will use ScheduLINK to ensure reliable logistical tracking of content and to oversee satellite and fibre feeds to the United States for broadcast on the Networks of NBC: NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, USA, Bravo and Telemundo.
ScheduLINK will help NBC Olympics efficiently manage the complexities involved with the large amount of ingest and feed distribution that occurs with an Olympic production.
"We are expecting to improve our Olympic broadcast operation with the use of ScheduLINK as our key scheduling component to our broadcast from Athens this Summer," said Errol Foremaster, Director of Engineering Operations & Coordination for NBC Olympics. "We are looking to ScheduLINK to help us improve our efficiency by eliminating redundant steps, avoiding scheduling conflicts, and automating communications of our schedule between operations and facilities."
