XANTIC SHOWCASE NEW AQUISITION

XANTIC have announced they will be joined at IBC by the latest addition to the Xantic family, KPN Broadcast.
Visitors to their booth will be able to see the first fruits of this acquisition in the shape of their brand-new Broadband Multimedia services, visualising the IBC 2001 theme of End-2-End content distribution via satellite.
Together with business partner Iventiquip, Xantic will be powering a Satellite News Gathering (SNG) vehicle at the entrance to the Amsterdam RAI throughout the duration of the event, from where they will contribute a live uplink to our Teleport in the Netherlands (Content Contribution). From here, we will use our IP Streaming service to broadcast live multimedia content to our workstations at the Xantic booth (1.447) and the booth of business partner NDSatcom (1.189). Xantic will also be present at the SES-ASTRA stand (1.269) demonstrating how our Broadband Multimedia services are based on the SES-ASTRA DVB/IP platform.
