PIONEER GB LAUNCH NEW 50-INCH SCREEN

PIONEER GB have announced that they will launch their new 50-inch PDP-503MXE aimed at the industrial and corporate markets.
The new screen includes two innovative technologies – Waffle Rib Structure and Pure Colour Filter – to deliver a 60 per cent improvement in brightness and a marked reduction in ambient light reflection over existing models.
The new displays boast an impressive foot print of 1218 x 714 x 98 (W x H x D), weighs only 38.9kg and feature built in 2W x 2W amplifiers. Power consumption is a key criteria for corporate users and the improvement in the brightness output has been achieved with no loss in efficiency.
The PDP-503MXE has the lowest power consumption in its class (380W per hour) and overall power consumption can be 20 per cent lower in Energy Save mode. PC compatibility is also important for the corporate market. The PDP-503MXE has been designed to meet the standards of the Windows Hardware Qualification Labs and can be used in a Windows environment, including Microsoft plug & play.
The PDP-503MXE can be viewed at an angle of 160 degrees both horizontally and vertically with no flicker or distortion and meets the demands of a range of professional and business applications including displaying information at airports, retail facilities, public events and in meeting rooms.
The PDP-503MXE offers superb picture quality with Pioneer’s CLEAR Drive Technology – which cannot be achieved with either a CRT or LCD display. The picture technology features higher grayscale, more colours and wide XGA resolution. (CD)
