PYSER-SGI INTRODUCE FUJINON’S HIGH DEFINITION 72X LENS

PYSER-SGI have extended their range of high definition telephoto lenses with the introduction of the Fujinon DigiPower 2/3 inch format XA72x9.3BESM-D.
An important aspect of the XA72x is a new motorised back focus system. This system puts macro focusing under the control of the camera operator, providing features such as touch-line interviews in sports events, or increasing creativity in any other OB situation where very close-in or special shots can heightened the drama. This advanced system allows the operator to quickly return the lens to normal setting without fiddly mechanical adjustment.
As well as providing high magnification, the XA72x offers wide angle panoramic views and images of incomparable sharpness and brightness. As an option it can be used with Fujinon’s new Optical Stabilisation Technique (OS-TECH) to give rock steady pictures at maximum telephoto setting.
Fujinon have designed a new multigroup zoom system to achieve the 72x magnification. The lens can be changed from wide angle to full telephoto setting in less than one second, with exceptionally quiet operation.
The XA72x offers all the advantages of Fujinon’s DigiPower digital control, providing many user benefits that would not be possible with analogue operation.
Focal length of the XA72x9.3BESM-D is from 9.3 to 670mm, increasing to 1340mm with its 2x extender. Maximum aperture is F1.7, and MOD is 2.7m (less than 0.3m in macro operation). (CD)
