Framestore Appoints VFX Supervisor

Framestore has appointed VFX Supervisor Arek Komorowski to its Vancouver studio.

Komorowski has more than two-decades experience in the industry, and most recently served as a VFX Supervisor at Pixomondo, where his projects included Roland Emmerich's sci-fi movie Moonfall. In his new role at Framestore, Komoroski will be responsible for determining the best creative and technical approaches to creating outstanding visual effects while working closely with world class directors.

Prior to Pixomondo, Komorowski was at Scanline VFX, working on titles such as Terminator: Dark Fate, Black Panther or Aquaman. Previous to Scanline VFX, he spent four years at Method - now fully integrated to Framestore - supervising on titles like Spider-Man: Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War. Komorowski started his career as an artist, first in paint/roto and then as a compositor within several VFX studios, including MPC, Cinesite, and Weta Digital.
