Lighthouse announce details of short courses
Lighthouse have announced details of a series of short courses for Spring/Summer 2004.
Lighthouse’s short courses are designed for artists, professionals and people interested in digital arts and moving image media. All the course tutors are highly experienced professionals who are actively working in the industry.
The courses available include: Digital Media Stage 1, a practical demonstration of multimedia software; Digital Media Stage 2, an in-depth analysis of on-line interactive interfaces and an introduction to web-centric production and distribution; Photoshop: Creative Digital Imaging, which will enable the students to create original artwork, manipulate images, change photos and combine image and text; Photoshop: Advanced Digital Imaging, which explores areas often overlooked by everyday use of Photoshop; Dreamweaver: Basic Web Pages, an essential course for anyone wishing to create a fully integrated website with the minimum of coding or expertise; Dreamweaver: Intermediate Web Pages, a course specially designed for creative web developers and designers to help them create fully integrated, dynamic websites; Flash: Introduction, a course which provides professional animation, presentation and graphics tools for the web designer, graphic designer or multimedia developer; Flash: Advanced, a course which teaches the student how to create more sophisticated Flash projects; Director, which teaches student how to use Macromedia’s authoring software for CD ROM production and multimedia presentation and Premiere: A Guide To Digital Imaging, which focuses on making digital video clips.
