MOSH STUDIOS INSTALL FAIRLIGHT MERLIN

MOSH Studios, a leading Sao Paulo music recording and DVD authoring facility, have chosen Fairlight’s Merlin digital multi track recorder as the heart of their new 5.1 mixing suite.
Powered by Fairlight’s industry-leading QDC engine, the 48-track Merlin was specified because of its high recognition and trust of the Fairlight brand among clients, as well as for its reliability and excellent sound.
The suite, designed by U.K. designer Jeff Sorbes, was intended to take the 22-year-old facility's 5.1 surround music mixing and DVD music video authoring services to an entirely new level. Combined with a 96-input SSL Axiom M-T digital console, the Fairlight Merlin — compatible with virtually every major digital audio platform — is the foundation for the room, providing flawless, reliable and sonically perfect digital audio storage and playback.
Since opening, the Merlin-equipped suite has done DVD music videos for major record labels Universal, BMG, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment.
