Argosy To Unveil A Range Of Solutions At IBC 2021
Argosy is introducing a range of solutions at IBC (Stand 10.C51, 3-6 December, 2021), as a result of a number of newly formed partnerships.
The additions are designed to help Argosy customers to simplify installation, improve efficiency and strengthen signal integrity across their facilities.
With KVM solutions from Guntermann & Drunck (G&D), Argosy customers can make the most of control room installation with full access to remotely stored computers from any location including a studio, home or an OB vehicle in real-time. Whether operating several hundred computers from one workstation or extending access to computers by up to 10,000 metres, G&D KVM solutions increase user-friendliness and ergonomics at any workplace and support resolutions of up to 4K at 60Hz.
Argosy will also showcase a new a range of pass-through style connectors and cable termination tooling from Simply45, covering CAT 6, CAT 6A, CAT7. Designed to make any wiring task simpler, the Simply45 system maintains wire pair twist synchronisation at termination for improved cable performance and uses colour coding for easy plug identification.
Ideal for outside broadcast and studio installation, Argosy's new Hyperflex is a new design of SMPTE camera cable, built to withstand heavy treatment. Unlike standard SMPTE cables, fibres and copper are enclosed in customised polyurethane rubberised compound outer jackets for unmatched resilience.
A new partnership with German manufacturer, Cordial means that Argosy can supply a broad variety of standard or customised cable assemblies for audio, data, power and video. From single link to multi-way harness with single or mixed media, Cordial produce special over-jacketed cables for ruggedized protection in harsh environments, as well as custom cable reels for simple and fast deployment which are ideal for rapid rigging and de-rigging of outside broadcast events.
Argosy is now also supplying new audio, video and lighting products and a comprehensive range of connectors from Neutrik's REAN brand. Featuring ultra-robust, high-reliability designs, that promise unrivalled cost-performance ratios, the range includes standard professional XLR, ¼” Jack, XLR/Jack combo, as well as ethernet, power connector, 3.5mm, phono, DIN, and dual banana plug solutions.
