Vinten launch AutoCam Controllers

Vinten have launched two new AutoCam controllers to meet the diverse requirements of robotics in today’s demanding television environment.
With the capacity to control from eight to an unlimited number of cameras, these new controllers with scaleable architecture, allow Multi-user, Multi-facility control of pedestals, heads, elevation units, tracks, and other exciting devices (planned for future release).
Microsoft Windows and real time OS technology make the enhanced operational features and expansive system architecture possible. This ensures that these two new systems work with all current and many obsolete AutoCam products, and enables a facility to introduce networking and utilise many of its existing devices.
The Windows based touch screen user interface utilises TCP/IP network architecture, allowing complete freedom to control one or more devices from one or many locations, either in the next room or on the other side of the world.
The scalable system architecture enables a facility to purchase equipment to suit their current needs, leaving them secure in the knowledge that they can add to the system with hardware and software upgrades, extra robotic heads and peds etc., providing additional features and functionality, as they grow.
