KOCE-TV chooses Sundance Digital

KOCE-TV recently undertook an overall facility upgrade that will allow the Orange County-based public television station to deliver multiple and high-definition digital video and audio streams to homes within the Coast Community College District and the Los Angeles market.
As part of the upgrade, the station looked to Sundance Digital and its FastBreak Automation.
The station will offer telecourses and classroom materials, in addition to digital and HD PBS content, as part of its daily programming. KOCE needed an automation system that could integrate the various parts of its system, including servers, CGs, still stores, Digicart, and bug-insertions. It found that FastBreak Automation was up to the task. More importantly, KOCE’s engineers discovered that Sundance Digital’s approach allowed the creation of a distinctive interface by which the stations traffic logs could be smoothly imported into the system as well as log all recorded content back to the Myer's ProTrack traffic software.
