CALL FOR SCRIPTS FOR COMEDY COMPETITION

MIRAGE Enterprises and Intermedia, in association with The Script Factory, are launching a nationwide competition to discover a great contemporary urban comedy idea to develop as a feature film.
To participate in this competition, applicants should submit a treatment and a sample scene. The finalists will have the chance to pitch their idea to Academy Award winning directors Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella, and a panel or Mirage and Intermedia executives.
Finalists will be invited to a screenwriting seminar with Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella.
The winning project will receive a full development commission for £10,000.
The closing date is November 9, 2001.
