Optibase collaborates with LSI Logic to support Sony MPEG IMX

Optibase and LSI Logic have announced the implementation of Sony MPEG IMX technology on the same encoding platform.
The implementation of Sony MPEG IMX Technology into Optibase’s encoding platform is a result of a close collaboration between Optibase and LSI Logic Corporation, a leader in multimedia processing for the Digital Home.
“Delivering this type of product to the market reinforces our strong relationship with industry leaders like Optibase, as well as our continued commitment to providing full-featured products in the digital video codec space,” said Bob Saffari, senior director of marketing for Advanced Video Products, LSI Logic Broadband Entertainment Division. “Our DVxpert product family, with its long-standing quality and reliability continues to evolve to address market requirements.”
