ORAD RECEIVE ORDERS IN EXCESS OF $1.3 MILLION

EMMY Award winner Orad Hi-Tec Systems, one of the world leaders in television production technology and sports broadcasting tools, announced the successful results of their participation at IBC with new orders exceeding $1.3 million.
Two of the significant sales were signed with TV6 (Russia) and Telesierra (Spain).
IBC 2001 has been an important success for Orad with a number of contracts signed during the show. The majority of these orders concern new products, introduced at IBC for the first time. The new Digital VideoGraphics platform (DVG) itself proved to be an attraction and point of interest at IBC, focusing considerable attention, both as the hardware basis for Orad’s virtual studios, On Air Graphics and sports animations as well as a platform for third party broadcast and other virtual reality applications.
In addition to the DVG, Orad introduced an impressive line of innovations at IBC including: CyberGraphics – On Air 3D graphics and studio animation solutions, already purchased by major broadcasters, such as– Telemadrid, NTL GamaVision, ZeeTV, and others and FORUM - a powerful compact new video server for slow motion applications in sports utilising 6 concurrent channels and networking capabilities.
Avi Sharir, Orad’s President and CEO: “Orad products are now able to provide to the customer a complete hardware and software system for Virtual Studios, On Air Graphics and Sports Productions. All components and applications are completely integrated, easy to use and less costly than comparable solutions. Armed with such a unique arsenal of products and in-house technologies, Orad will undoubtedly extend its leadership in the broadcast and sports production markets.” (CD)
