Imago, the UK's leading video communications distributor, has come to an agreement with Sharp to distribute its new large flat screen LCD monitor, the LC-M3700.
This innovative model is ideal for resellers specialising in the growing public display market. The LC-M3700 combines high quality, high definition picture with an environmentally-friendly operation. The 37" widescreen monitor offers a resolution of 1366 (H) x 768 (V) and a superb contrast ratio of 800:1. It will display video or data in either a landscape or portrait format, and gives a memorable viewing experience thanks to its black TFT screen that can achieve brightness up to 430 cd/m².
The backlight of this new model has a very long-life and can achieve 60,000 hours - over 20 years of viewing for eight hours a day.
With low power consumption and no permanent 'screen burn' on the display, the LCM3700 has economical and environmental benefits.
As a result, the LC-M3700 is perfect for communicating visual messages to large audiences and crowds in public spaces. It has low reflectivity to cater for brightly lit venues, and incorporates a 170° wide viewing angle, making it easy to see from all perspectives. Because it is possible to create a video wall using either four or nine LC-M3700 monitors, the range of applications becomes even wider.
