Two new directors sign to Park Village
Park Village Productions has added two new directors to its team, award winning Scandinavian director Johan Brisinger and Jim Hayton formerly of Channel 4.
After many years of successful directing for the Scandinavian market, Johan Brisinger launched his international career with an assignment for London agency AMV/BBDO for The Economist Magazine. His recent jobs include advertising campaigns and music videos for DDB Chicago, Publicis Paris, Dreamworks Records in Los Angeles, Citron/Hegelman/Bedecarre in San Francisco, Saatchi in New York and V2 Records in London. He has worked with high profile brands including British Telecom, Vodaphone and Nicorette.
Brisinger’s short film ‘Passing Hearts’ won the award for best short at the 2003 Berlin Film Festival, Panorama, and other awards include a Clio, an Epica, a Gold Swan and a Golden Egg. He was also a finalist at Cannes in 2000 for his heartfelt commercial for BBDO Oslo, ‘Just Married’.
After producing and directing trailers for the Cartoon Network Jim Hayton moved to producing and directing promos and trailers for Channel 4, Film Four and E4 and comes to Park Village where he has just completed a Bells Whisky spot for Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy.
Park Village Managing Director Freya Noble said: "I’m delighted that these two directors have joined our roster as they bring exciting, yet different talents to the Company. Johan’s smooth and cinematic style is beautifully crafted with performances that draw you in on an emotional level. His work has a subdued and poetic tone which create a sense of harmony both in images and storytelling.
"Jim is a modern director who’s work encompasses contemporary life. The disciplines of writing, directing and editing each of his trailers while at Channel 4 has given him the ability to produce well rounded films."
The Park Village stable of Directors already includes Charlie Stebbings, Mick Rudman, Paul Gowers, Omid Nooshin, Peter Webb and Oscar winner Roger Woodburn.
